We did it. Our first appearance at a show and it was a great success. For those of you who missed it, we will post a photo or two soon. Not only did people try our products but the feedback was overwhelmingly positive! We are thrilled that people enjoyed our bread and muffin samples and glad that the immediate feedback was so positive. It goes to show you one thing: GLUTEN FREE BAKING DOES NOT HAVE TO BE DRY AND TASTELESS. There, we said it.
If poeple sample they understand this to be true. So, when we hauled out our best selling bread to prove the theory, people walked by and didn’t want to try. But soon thereafter people tried and said yes they were surprised by the moisture and crumb of our bread. We couldn’t be happier! It was everything we could do no to say “we told you so!” We custom blend our flours to make the baked goods. That’s the secret and we can tailor a recipe to suit other allergies you may have in addition to gluten. This seemed to have caught many of you by surprise. Talk to us, talk to your friends, let us know how we can help you and let’s not settle for dull, dry, tasteless bread!
As for our cooking demonstration last night, the perogies were a HUGE hit. We’re considering adding them to our menu so stay tuned. Finicky work but worth it when you can bite into them and not worry about feeling bloated or ill because of the gluten. Totally gluten-free perogies, delicious. Thank you for the many many compliments and the plugs for Chef Monique to be on TV. If someone wants to tell the Food Network how much you enjoyed watching her, we would appreciate it!
So all in all a great evening. Good job by the Celiac Association too. It’s a great event. Look for us next year and in the meantime, send us your orders and we promise you will enjoy the bread as much as you did last night. Cheers!
