Christmas bread loaded with raisins and currants and almond spice
Well, we have taken the time to make a list and check it twice… it’s not for presents though, it’s for baking! We are in full swing for this season. We’re making our own family favourites and decided it was time to share them with you. So, new to our menu page this year are some Dutch treats that we grew up on. Authentic Dutch “gevulde speculaas” or “filled gingerbread” and authentic Dutch “weihnacht stollen” or “Christmas Bread”. So not only can you find our regular items but look for our new ones too for the holiday season. It’s a busy time and everyone has their own traditions to keep up and some new ones to create too. Visit our Open House
We also thought, in the name of good cheer, to host a holiday open house for our customers and help celebrate with the holidays with them. So join us on December 17th from 1-4pm. You’ll be able to pick up pre-ordered product, sample some new items and get any last minute baking that you might need. Plus, we’ll have the “good cheer” ready for you to sip on as well. Come and meet our Chef, Monique, and sample our family favourites along with our regular items. It is our way of getting you in the holiday mode and feeling festive.
